JRM Video Production To Broadcast D3 College Football On Pittsburgh’s CW
KDKA-TV announces today that it will broadcast Division III college football on its sister-station, Pittsburgh’s CW, Saturdays this fall, with simultaneous streaming on KDKA.com as well as the CBS News Pittsburgh app. JRM Video Production will produce the broadcasts.
D3 College Football on The CW will be home to Washington & Jefferson College football this Fall. The broadcast schedule will follow the Presidents’ Athletic Conference which will also feature four Allegheny College football games. “Washington & Jefferson College is very excited to showcase NCAA Division III football on The CW this fall. College football Saturdays are filled with pageantry and tradition at every level and viewers will enjoy talented, hard-working student-athletes playing in the competitive Presidents’ Athletic Conference. We can’t wait to kick off the season at Cameron Stadium.” Said Scott McGuinness Director of Athletics.
Calling the games will be PAC play-by-play announcer Austin Bechtold, with sideline reporters Matt Farago and Robert Mangino. Color analyst to be determined. Bechtold has broadcasted PAC games the past two seasons and is a young announcer eager to make his mark on Western Pennsylvania. Bechtold is a producer at KDKA Radio and 93.7 The Fan and also covers Pitt and Robert Morris basketball for Pittsburgh Sports Now.
