KDKA-TV Partnership - High School Football

JRM Video Production is thrilled to announce a partnership with Pittsburgh’s, KDKA-TV. JRM will be broadcasting high school and college football live on TV this Fall via Pittsburgh’s CW channel. (Soon to be rebranded) 

JRM will deliver top notch football broadcasts to all of Western PA via cable, over-the-air, and streaming. JRM Video Production got their start broadcasting high school sports within the Baldwin-Whitehall School District on the Fighting Highlanders Sports Network. Owners Jake Mysliwczyk and Ryan Milan are eager to expand their broadcasts to a TV audience this Fall. “It’s impressive what our crew achieves. From aerial coverage, to four angles of instant replay, to live graphics. We are very excited to show the Pittsburgh region what JRM will bring to local sports coverage” said JRM producer/owner, Jake Mysliwczyk. 

The Steel City High School Football Showcase presented by UPMC Sports Medicine will feature ten of the best teams and rivalries from across the region. “We are crazy for football in this town,” Said KDKA-TV President and General Manager Chris Cotugno, “And some of the best football talent in the country is right here in our backyard, so we could not be more excited about this announcement.” 

Matt Farago will be the voice of the Steel City High School Football Showcase presented by UPMC Sports Medicine. Farago, a Pittsburgh-based multimedia professional, has a diverse background encompassing various roles such as sports announcer, content producer, marketing director, and PR/communications specialist. In 2021, Farago was honored with the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters Award for broadcast excellence for his announcing of the WPIAL Football Championships on The Pickle 92.1FM, where he has been the voice of HS Football for 7 seasons.

Farago and Mysliwczyk’s multidisciplinary backgrounds encompasses the collaboration of overseeing all advertising, promotion and logistics associated with the Steel City High School Football Showcase Presented by UPMC Sports Medicine.
